Hidden Valley Cages Byrd in 8-3 Baseball Win Saturday

Hidden Valley rode the arm of Ryan Lauria, and the Titan bats pounded out eight runs, as Hidden Valley defeated William Byrd 8-3 in non-district baseball Saturday afternoon at Titan Field.

Lauria, a Louisville signee, struck out six and was perfect through the first three innings, setting down the first nine Terrier batters in order.

Hidden Valley wasted no time getting on the scoreboard in the first when leadoff batter Hayes Nelson homered deep over the left field wall, the first of three hits on the afternoon for Nelson.

Chad Frazier also connected for three hits for the Titans, including a double and triple.
