William Byrd broke open a 3-3 tie with four runs in the top of the fifth, then added a pair in the sixth and another in the seventh, as the Lady Terriers pulled away for the 10-3 non-district softball win Saturday afternoon on the Hidden Valley diamond.
Sophomore Brooke Seale connected on a solo homer for Hidden Valley that tied things in the bottom of the fourth, but the Lady Terrier bats came alive for the win.
Ashlee Sherk picked up the win in the circle for William Byrd.
