Joseph Cartledge and Michael Flemming of North Cross won the USTA Mid-Atlantic Boys 18 Challenger tournament at The Greenbrier. This was a L4 Challenger tournament and is the second highest level sectional tournament that the players participate in. The tennis partners won in a tiebreaker 9-8 over Maryland’s team of Nikita Demir and Austin Yannone.
Cartledge finished as the runner-up in the singles tournament – loosing in the finals to Chase Bernstine of Richmond 6-1,6-4.
