Cave Spring broke away from a 13-13 tie with a 6-1 run at the end of the first half, and the Lady Knights used the momentum to dominate in the second half, as Cave Spring defeated Craig County last Thursday night in the Knight gym.
Cave Spring employed a pressure defense to outscore the Rockets 20-9 in the third quarter as the Knights pulled away for their second win of the season.
Hailey Sitze led Cave Spring with a game-high 12 points and Cassie Parulis added 10 as the Knights had nine players hit the scoring column.
