Last Thursday Lord Botetourt overcame a 4-point deficit after three quarters by ourscoring the Titans 21-10 down the stretch, as the Cavaliers outlasted Hidden Valley 61-54 in the non-district matchup at the Hidden Valley gym.

Justin Goode led Botetourt with 21 points, with junior Thomas Hickman adding 15.

Senior Dylan Hodson scored a game-high 28 points for Hidden Valley, while Ben Munsey and Camden Sine each poured in ten points for the Titans.

On Tuesday night, Hidden Valley returned the favor when they traveled to Daleville and defeated the Cavs 54-52.

The Titans broke a 48-48 tie with :43 left and held on for the 2-point victory, their first of the season. Dylan Hodson again led the Hidden Valley attack, with a game-high 29 points. Titan Ben Munsey added seven points, while Hayes Nelson picked up six, including a key stick-back in the final minute.

Goode once again led the Lord Botetourt scoring attack, getting 23 points, while Hickman followed with 12 for the Cavs.
