In January 2015, Total Action for Progress (TAP) announced it would name its main building located at 302 2nd Street in downtown Roanoke, after its former president for 40 years, Ted Edlich. Near the end of February 2016, the lettering was completed and placed permanently on the side of the agency, along with a plaque with Mr. Edlich’s likeness and short biography.

Mr. Edlich has been officially retired for nearly a year, but has not slowed down his pace since leaving TAP. He is blogging on his website (www.nonprofitrapids.com) regularly, acting as a Visiting Fellow and guest lecturer at Hollins University, and promoting the release of his upcoming book, Navigating the Nonprofit Rapids: Strategies and Tactics for Running a Nonprofit Company.

You can also keep up with Ted on his Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ted.edlich.author or meet him in person at his book release party this April 12th at Center in the Square.
