It was Virginia Tech Football Night Monday evening at Roanoke Country Club as the Roanoke Valley Sports Club was entertained by Hokie associate head football coach Shane Beamer. Beamer offered a preview of the upcoming Tech season and introduced new Virginia Tech radio play-by-play announcer Jon Laaser.
The Hokies open their season Monday, September 7th when defending national champions Ohio State visit Blacksburg for a night game at Lane Stadium.
