ECPI University Opens New Campus in Roanoke

Degrees Aimed at Fulfilling Local Hiring Needs

ECPI University has announced that it has established a campus in the City of Roanoke, located at 5234 Airport Rd NW. Founded nearly 50 years ago, ECPI University offers prospective students the opportunity to earn Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees in a wide array of programs in information technology, business, and health science. The Roanoke campus will initially focus on three programs: Network SecurityMedical Assisting and Practical Nursing.

“ECPI University has a long history of providing programs which we believe will be of great value to residents of the Roanoke Valley,” said ECPI University President Mark Dreyfus. “Since 1966, ECPI University has established itself as a valued employment partner to many companies and organizations, big and small.”

ECPI University offers accelerated Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees that allow students to obtain hands-on skills and then pursue careers in STEM and healthcare fields.  They can receive an Associate’s degree in 1.5 years or less or a Bachelor’s degree in 2.5 years or less.

Most class sizes number 20 students or fewer, allowing for ample one-on-one attention. ECPI University also boasts a number of national rankings. Most notably, Community College Week ranks it #5 in the nation for Computer and Information Sciences & Support Services and #6 for Health Professions and Related Clinical Services in terms of number of degrees awarded.

ECPI University’s other Virginia campuses are located in Virginia Beach, Newport News, Richmond, and Manassas. Campuses in North Carolina and South Carolina include Raleigh, Greensboro, Charlotte, Columbia, Greenville, and Charleston.
