Artist Eric Fitzpatrick begins to lay out the composition of his painting as Joann Lampros and Anne Karr chat at the U.S. Kids Care 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on the South Roanoke fire station lawn. U.S. Kids Care is a charitable group based in Roanoke that is run by children in the first through twelfth grades. It has raised money for a variety of local, state and national charities including: Angels of Assisi, The Roanoke Rescue Mission, Roanoke’s Refugee & Immigration Services, The Presbyterian Community Center, HopeTree Family Services, UNICEF, The American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity as well as Hurricane Katrina victims.
