Congratulations to Christian Blackwell of Patrick Henry High School.  He is the 2015 Wendy’s High School Heisman Boys Winner for Virginia.  Blackwell is now being considered to be a National Finalist.  The Wendy’s High School Heisman honors well-rounded young men and women who excel in learning and are leaders in the classroom, on the field, and in the community.

Candidates Eligibility must maintain a GPA of 3.0 (B average) or better. Applicants also need to be proven leaders and role models within their school and community and must perform in at least one of the 43 school sponsored sports recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games or the National Federation of State High School Association.

For being the state winner, Patrick Henry High School will receive $1,000, possibly more if Blackwell advances.  Congratulations also to Ciara Mulcahy of Patrick Henry High School.  She is one of 10 state finalists for the Wendy’s High School Heisman.
