The Virginia Veteran’s Day Parade on Saturday in downtown Roanoke brought back a valued American tradition of honoring our national military service members for their sacrifice in support of our freedom.
The parade route, which began on Elm Avenue, wound down Jefferson Street and Campbell Avenue through the City Market.
The parade featured a colorful and unique display of patriotism from parade participants and spectators alike. Bands, floats, vehicles and soldiers were in abundance Saturday as thousands of onlookers lined the streets to show their support.
