Dear Sir: I have recently had the opportunity to read articles published in your paper by Dr. Bruce Rinker and I felt I must write to express my appreciation.
Dr. Rinker lectured in my senior independent living community several times and he was sorely missed when he moved to Virginia. Now I am once again able to enjoy his extremely well-informed discourse on a variety of interesting topics. To add to my pleasure, his articles are not only knowledgeable and concise but they are expressed in the kind of fluid, well-written prose that one rarely encounters these days.
You and your newspaper are to be commended for upholding good journalistic standards by printing Dr. Rinker’s articles. I hope that you will continue to do so.
