The Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce held its annual Gingerbread House competition last weekend, with contestants showing off their confectionery designs – all must feature at least some gingerbread and everything must be edible. The Carriage House at Longwood Park in Salem displayed the entries, which came from local schools, scout troops, senior living centers, etc.
