I am writing in response to the article title Virginia Tech/ Amazon Establish Machine Learning Research Leadership, published on your website on March 10, 2022.
I just wanted to say how incredibly far we have come along in technology since the industrial revolution. It is amazing that Virginia Tech and Amazon are collaborating. In my opinion I feel like the Commonwealth should have not spent so much money for higher education to have technology. Commonwealth should be spending money on people who don’t have money to have an education or spend money on other things. Also, the Commonwealth is only spending money on higher education and nothing else which is kind of like a hierarchy.
I will say the good thing about Virginia Tech and Amazon collaborating is everyone is working well together. Everyone is on the same page and has the same goal to be able to help students have amazing opportunities to help pursue the career they want. The opportunity gives them a better grasp to understand the career they want to go into which will help in the future. The new technology will help the future in education and will help future students which in my opinion is amazing.
