Blue Ridge Independent Living Center Offers Renovation Grants for Disabled

Are you a person with a disability? Would a home modification such as a ramp, grab bars, railings, etc. help you to remain independent in your home? Blue Ridge Independent Living Center (BRILC) might be able to assist you.

If you are a renter and you meet financial eligibility requirements, we can assist you to access up to $6,000 for home modifications. These funds can be used for any renovations that are needed to make your rental unit accessible for a person who has a disability.

If you are a veteran or a service member who sustained a line of duty injury resulting in a service connected disability who is either a homeowner or renter and you meet financial eligibility requirements, BRILC can assist you to access up to $6,000 for home modifications.
