Smith Mountain Lake’s “Little Gallery” Opens Second Shop Downtown

The former Agnew Seed building will soon become The Little Gallery’s second home.

Long a fixture at Smith Mountain Lake, The Little Gallery has announce they are expanding into a second location in Downtown Roanoke. The new location will be in the former Agnew Seed building on 301 Market St. The current business, Walkabout Outfitters will be relocating across the street in the newly renovated Sams location.

The Little Gallery has been in business for 30 years at Smith Mountain Lake, representing many regional artists, cultivating art collectors and offering one of a kind gifts. The gallery says they are now looking forward to being involved in the Roanoke community and revitalization efforts “by bringing thoughtfully curated art selections and specialty gifts to the already thriving art culture of downtown Roanoke.”

The owners, Pam and Mike Fridley said they “feel the downtown Roanoke art culture and art related community events, the growing housing, medical and business presence and being able to locate into such a historical location as Agnew Seed is a wonderfully nostalgic opportunity.”

The Little Gallery on Smith Mountain Lake will remain at Bridgewater Plaza, Route 122 and The Little Gallery on Market St, Roanoke will open in the Fall of 2018.

The Little Gallery hours are Sunday – Saturday 10– 6:00, and by appointment. For additional information please contact Pam Fridley at 540-721-1596 or at [email protected]
