The United States; A Hapless Debtor Nation of Delusion

When President Obama visited Argentina recently he apologized for our country being slow to speak out about human rights during stressful times in their country. He said that we (the United States) must confront our past with ‘honesty and transparency.’

Wow, we have never heard a U.S. President cough up such apologetic words. It is strange that this is the very man who has maintained the most secretive and opaque administration in history.

The word ‘honesty’ doesn’t appear in the Obama dictionary; he has lied about healthcare, about ISIS and the threats it poses and has withheld information about every scandal during his administration. For review, this includes, ‘Fast and Furious’, the IRS subterfuge, the botched Benghazi calamity of 9/11/2012, the Iran nuclear swindle and now the Cuba one-way giveaway of information and money. (This is a partial list.)

At least 31 people were killed and 190 or more were injured in the attacks in Brussels, Belgium on March 22 of this year. ISIS proudly told the world that they were responsible for the killings and injuries, presumably at the direction of Allah.

Mr. Obama took less than one minute to acknowledge the attacks and offer condolences to Belgium (aka Belgistan) and all those victims. He also mentioned that we must not interrupt our plans by being fearful of ISIS but do things that were planned. By changing our plans, we are yielding to fear and we must acknowledge that ISIS is weak.

We don’t live in a vacuum in the U.S. or any other nation. The dreams of Mr. Obama are that talking about fear marshals courage, speaking of weakness creates strength and diplomacy is superior to deadly conflict even when the diplomat is ducking bullets and dodging flack from a pipe bomb.

It is apparently improper for government workers to speak of ISIS or ISIL having any relationship to Islam in spite of the first two initials that stand for Islamic State. According to the Obama administration we are not at war with anyone. But ISIS, the Taliban, Al Qaeda and other terror groups are at war with us and any nation outside their caliphate that is populated by moderate Muslims, Christians, Jews and/or other ‘infidels.’ At least 2,000 have joined ISIS from UK, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and France

An organization called TROP (The Religion of Peace) collects data on Islamic attacks worldwide. Here are the statistics for February 28, 2016 through March 29, 2016: 136 attacks; 1,122 killed; 3,173 injured and 32 suicide blasts in 25 countries.

It sounds like WWIII whether or not we want to deal with reality. Innocent victims are dying at the hands of Islamic terrorists. Beheading may be considered as something else or we can define it as depraved degenerate annihilation. At this rate, 13,000 will die and 37,000 will be injured by Muslim terrorists in 2016.

What happened to the coalition of many nations that was going to subdue Islamic terrorists? A couple years ago, ISIS was a JV team; later on it became an organization that was ‘contained.’ A State Department official once spoke of helping find jobs for ISIS fighters. And billions of dollars are being released to Iran for enhancing their support of terrorism.

Our great economic/industrial/military juggernaut that helped wipe out Nazism, Fascism and Japanese Imperialism is missing in action. The intrepid military might that switched the odds to victory by grit and courage in past conflicts has been recalled from heroism to political correctness. Diplomacy has descended into a mosaic of spineless apologies and concessions. Our gifts and grants to support nations all over the world has become a multi-billion dollar lottery for friends and adversaries.

In his speeches, Mr. Obama has recounted the mistakes our nation has made in the past without relating the precious lost lives and benefits that we have provided to downtrodden people all over the globe. Instead we have trained our citizens to march not to the thrilling strains of the National Anthem but to the discordant notes of government entitlements. We have taught people to fill out welfare requests but not job applications.

We have become…… a hapless debtor nation of delusion.
