Woody Deans of Southwest Roanoke City was the overall winner at the Roanoke Valley Senior Golf Tour’s tournament played June 10th at Hanging Rock Golf Club. Playing in Division 1, (handicaps 0-12) Deans recorded a net score of 64. Other Division 1 winners were: 2nd, Bob Poff – 65; 3rd, David Heath – 66; 4th, Ken Wilburn – 66; 5th, Tim Lisk – 66.
Playing in Division 2, (handicaps 13 to 17), Jim Williams of Salem finished in 1st Place with a net score of 65. Other Division 2 winners were: 2nd, Richard Smith – 67; 3rd, Brian Leacock – 69; 4th, Bob Hamblen – 69; 5th, Joe Parker – 70.
In Division 3 (handicaps over 17), Tom Garland of Thaxton carded a net score of 66 for 1st place. Other Division 3 winners were: 2nd, Rick Elmore – 67; 3rd, Bob Huffman – 69; 4th, Dave Hollandsworth – 69; 5th, Val Bernys 69.
The Low Gross score of 72 went to Woody Deans of Southwest Roanoke City.
Congratulations also to Ken Gross of Blue Ridge who recorded a Hole in One on Hole number 12.
