North Cross School made the three hour road trip to Mouth of Wilson, Va., along the North Carolina border in Grayson County to take on perennial national power Oak Hill Academy last Friday night.
The Raiders hung tough for one quarter and trailed only 17-14 after the opening eight minutes before the eight-time national champs got their transition game in gear.
The taller Warriors outscored North Cross 23-4 in the second quarter to open a 40-18 advantage at the halftime break and followed with a 28-10 edge in the third quarter before coasting to the 82-43 win.
Peter Agba led North Cross in scoring with 18 points, while Keith Oddo tallied 8 for the Raiders including a pair of three-pointers. Matt Doughty chipped in 7 for North Cross.
