On Saturday, September 3rd, three of the hottest youth bluegrass bands: The Snyder Family Band, Loose Strings and Adam McPeak & Mountain Thunder will perform at the Blue Ridge Music Center as part of “The Next Generation” concert.
These talented groups are on the rise and demonstrate that the traditional music of the Blue Ridge has strong footing with the younger generation. Alumni Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM) from Galax and Sparta will make a special appearance. Best of all the concert is free, thanks to the support of the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation.
