Knight’s First Inning Rally Sinks Richlands in Region IV Softball

Cave Spring, keyed by a bases-loaded triple by Lauren Roach, plated five first-inning runs to back the strong pitching of Taylor Asimakopoulos, and the Knights coasted to the 7-3 first-round win Monday afternoon. Madi Billings and Tory Parris followed Roach’s shot with back-to-back doubles, and Cave Spring never looked back to advance to the Region IV semifinals.
