Dear Editor, I just read your paper for the first time and enjoyed the stories. One story that bothered me had a quote from Bob Goodlatte about the height of a stack of 100 dollar bills. He stated that a stack of 100 dollar bills that totaled 1 billion is 4 inches high while a stack that totaled 1 trillion was 67 miles high. Actually the math is quite easy. 1 trillion is 1 billion times 1,000 so by his 4 inch times 1,000 totals 4000 inches or 333.33 feet not 67 miles. If Goodlatte cannot do simple math he should be expelled from Congress.

The words simple and math do not go together.
SoSoJoe,
You’re kidding right? Do you work for the Roanoke Times or something?
The Star Sentinel should not permit letters to the editor which call into question our patriotic Republican leaders.
