The 2nd annual Juneteenth Freedom Day Black Tie and Dinner Dance was held at the Taubman Museum of Art last Friday Delegate Onzlee Ware presented the “Freedom Day Award” to Richard L. Chubb, retired principal from the Roanoke City Schools, for his outstanding civic leadership and excellence in the field of education.
