Music, food and ethnic dance from dozens of nations took center stage at Elmwood Park Saturday for the 19th annual Local Colors celebration. Audience participation was encouraged at the end of the day’s festivities as Local Colors Organizer Pearl Fu invited everyone on stage to sing well-known songs of peace and love. According to Fu, almost 90 countries were represented at Local Colors this year, with the Parade of Nations kicking off the festivities.
