Since Ayatollah Khomeini seized power on February 11, 1979, after the exile of the Shah of Iran the previous month, the fanatical Shiite Muslim clerics in Tehran and their proxies have publicly threatened to annihilate Israel literally thousands of times. Like the genocidal antisemitic Nazi Germans from 1920 to 1945, whose ideology was greatly inspired by Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf and hateful oratory, the warmongering mullahs, who believe in the apocalyptic “Shia ‘Twelver’ sect” inspired by an extremist interpretation of the Koran, have meant every diabolical word they have ever said or printed.
Unlike the Nazis, the evil Iranian theocrats are on the verge of acquiring operational nuclear weapons. If they succeed, their sky-high mushroom clouds would be much more powerful and one thousand times worse than the two atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945.
Iranian nuclear warheads would strike Israel from the Golan Heights in the north to the Negev Desert in the south killing millions of Israeli Jews, Muslims, and Christians along with poisoning the Holy Land for centuries. The poisonous radioactive fallout would be spread airborne, especially affecting the West Bank and Gaza Strip and all over the world contaminating both water and land for decades or far much longer.
Iranian nuclear warheads unmercifully would completely destroy Israel’s five biggest cities: Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Rishon LeZion, and Netanya.
Iranian nuclear warheads combined with intercontinental ballistic missiles in the future would eventually pose a direct threat as Russian proxies by reaching both Europe and the U.S. whom the Iranian mullahs regard as the Great Satan.
Iranian nuclear warheads would also begin an unimaginable nuclear arms race among Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq and perhaps Turkey leading to a possible Armageddon in the Middle East in a future war against Iran. The Abraham Accords will become a joke.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration as represented by special envoy Steve Witkoff has naively been negotiating with Iran since March 5. This started when Trump first “sent a letter to [86-year-old] Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei issuing a 60-day ultimatum to make progress on nuclear negotiations, or Iran would face military consequences.”
On Saturday, April 19, Witcoff conducted a “third round of indirect negotiations [in Rome and] with the Iranian foreign minister [to begin on] Saturday [April 26 in Oman] after the start of … technical discussions.”
In my opinion, these negotiations are a farce avoiding the inevitable.
Unfortunately, the Iranians are masters at deception, mendacity, stalling, and endless negotiating over minutiae and have not agreed to any comprehensive inspections of their nuclear sites since 2015. Iran has been also the biggest sponsor of state-sponsored terrorism in the world since 1984 by supporting such terrorists as Hezbollah, Hamas, ISIS, and the Houthis among many others.
They especially have no intention of giving up their nuclear weapons like Libya wisely did in 2003. They clearly have no plans to dismantle their centrifuges and give up their enriched uranium.
As President Trump said on April 14, “I think they’re tapping us along,” Iran is just talking endless nonsense and buying time before they develop enough operational nuclear warheads for their missiles to destroy or decapitate Israel, which is our most loyal ally in the Middle East.
If Iran succeeds in developing nuclear warheads, then it will be too late to contain them with conventional weapons exposing millions of civilian Iranians to more death and suffering in an allied war of retaliation.
Last October 26 after Iran sent 200 ballistic missiles in a blatant act of war against Israel on October 1, Israel destroyed almost all the Iranian Russian S-300 air defenses in Iran, especially near “energy and oil facilities.” This also included three major missile manufacturing bases, nuclear weapons research facilities, numerous oil refineries and other strategic sites.
Iran is totally defenseless from the air, and now is the perfect time to strike instead of conducting fruitless diplomatic negotiations.
I am truly mystified about the true purpose of our six stealth B-2 bombers at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, which is located 2,274 miles (3,659 km) from Yemen and 2,400 miles (3,900 kilometers) from the southern coast of Iran. I am completely mystified why they are not destroying Iran’s nuclear facilities, which are buried deep inside mountains and other underground locations.
Each B-2 bomber Is capable of carrying two “bunker buster” bombs called the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) [with each one weighing] … 30,000-lb (14,000 kg), … [and is] said to be able to penetrate 200 feet of concrete before exploding.”
NOW, is the perfect time for a massive preemptive attack to destroy all the nuclear facilities in Iran when they least expect it because Iran has no intention of not developing nuclear weapons based on their forty-six-year history of unequivocal, bellicose, and genocidal rhetoric toward Israel since 1979.
Both Israel and the U.S. in coordinated attacks need to destroy their nuclear facilities as soon as possible along with their oil refineries at Kharg Island in the northern Persian Gulf along with other refineries in the Hormozgan province and elsewhere. There will be no need for ground troops to topple the radical Shiite government in Tehran because the oppressed Iranian people will do what is needed for new leadership and a civilized society.
Otherwise, Iran is playing Trump like a chump or fool. The world does not need another rogue North Korea in the Middle East.
