One of my coworkers recently asked me if I celebrate Christmas, or what is our traditional practice on such a day. I said, the belief of the Christmas season and the spark of happiness, excitement, and hope among people with the meaning of Christmas, touches my soul. The vitality of every city, neighborhood, street, and house decorated with bright lights with feelings of joy and remembering Jesus are never ending in my head.
Whether I am a Christian or not, the beauty and the meaning of Christmas cannot be ignored by my consciousness. To feel connected to Americans and living peacefully in a society of great diversity. Such a society that a person can be a part of it and still keep his/her identity. A society that finds and embraces those people who are lost in their origin countries.
I am walking alongside those who believe in Jesus Christ the lord and celebrate his birthday on this day. I am seeing and sharing the joy of those who are believing in Almighty God and understanding the spiritual connection with him. In order to define faith, we must understand it, live it, and apply it to our lives. (Editor’s Note: Amen!)
The meaning of this day is reflected in people’s faces and hearts. The infinite hope along with the sun rise with a pleasant heat in such cold weather. It is Christmas.
With his birth, everyone else was born again and the sun rose in Bethlehem for a new day unlike any other new days. With his birth, everyone asked: What happened? This day is not a typical one of the year? A child was born, he is unlike any other children. Who is he? He is Jesus Christ.
Peace redefined itself, love entered every town and heart, and tears of joy streamed down on the face of humanity. It was his birthday. He came as a savior, to heal the sickness, comfort the pain, and strengthen the weak. A wonderful gift came to humanity on such a special day that changed history and laid a new path for human beings.
It is Merry Christmas in America, the nation of our sweet dreams, the mother of our modern era, and the place where we can attain our pinnacle. It is Merry Christmas in America where everyone can celebrate, embrace, and be embraced and connect without even speaking the same language.
It is Merry Christmas in America, and Merry Christmas to you.
