“The Ouija Spoke,
That’s All She Wrote,
Katie Bar The Door.”
No better way to sum up this year’s performance by The Board on our ‘Big-11’ high school football predictions.
Little doubt the Ouija wanted to go out with a bang in the final week of the high school regular season last Friday night, and I’d say it pulled off the ultimate encore, going a perfect 9-0.
That made it the fourth perfect prediction week this season, the ninth in column history and a final record for 2015 of 80-10 (.889) in our ‘Big-11’ slate of predictions.
Remember in week-one when The Chief offered me a Maserati if I could could predict all the games correctly? Wow, building a 4-car garage is pricey.
I’m going to let the ole boy off the hook this time, mainly because I’ve decided to have this Ouija Board bronzed for posterity and I’ll slip the bronzing cost through corporate headquarters accounting.
The Chief will never catch me; he’s too busy ordering a bunch of Colorama Coloring Books (or equivalent substitutes) to give each Star employee this Christmas.
Before I start coloring in my Popeye Coloring Book, let’s take a look at this week’s high school football playoffs where 8 ‘Big-11’ teams reached postseason play. Although predictions have ended, a glimpse at the action.

Now, to the mail bag, where the Colorama Coloring Book got plenty of comments last week.
Dear Wild Bill: Do you honestly think a coloring book will relieve stress, make you smile and bring out your innermost artistic talents? (Cindy/Salem)
Possibly, Cindy. If you’re around three years old.
Dear Wild Coloring Man: You ever tried jumping into bed with a coloring book like they advise with the Colorama Coloring Book? (Frank/Bedford)
Well, Frank, I once dated a girl whose hair was dyed like a box of 64 Crayolas. But, it didn’t last. 31-years old and she just wanted to keep coloring.
