Page Turner will show among 26 international artists at the 2nd Annual All Women Artists Group Exhibit, Oneira: I Dream the Self at Studio C Gallery in Los Angeles. An exhibit featuring personal interpretations of dreaming from the female perspective.

Roanoke artist, Page Turner’s assemblage sculpture, “Tiny Toes” was selected to be exhibited in the Oneira: I Dream the Self 2nd Annual All Women Artists Group Exhibit.

In celebration of this exhibit there will be a panel discussion, “Women Artists: Where do we go from here?” moderated by Molly Barnes, renowned New York and Los Angeles art dealer, curator, collector, radio personality, author, and art critic credited with discovering John Baldessari, Gronk, Mark Kostabi, Robert Cottingham, among others.

As a pioneering art dealer who owned a gallery on Los Angeles’ famed La Cienega Gallery Row in the 1960s, Barnes helped build renowned art collections for producer Norman Lear and director Billy Wilder.

In conjunction with Oneira: I Dream the Self, The Santa Fe Art Colony will be hosting the 25th Annual Open Studio Event, May 17th & May 18th.  Studio C Gallery and Santa Fe Art Colony are located within downtown Los Angeles’s vibrant artistic community.

Turner’s sculptures resonate with the everyday history of her lost sisters and are made entirely from trinkets and trifles. Turner’s work utters a sincere homage to the feminine.

Page Turner’s art studio is located in Downtown Roanoke, inside Dialog Studios, and is open by appointment.  (www.pageturnerstudios.com)
