William Fleming continues to develop its baseball program from the ground up, and Tuesday afternoon the Colonels showed their competitive nature despite a lopsided loss to cross-town rival Patrick Henry.
Still refining the fundamentals, Fleming battled hard before falling 26-6 in the Western Valley District matchup at John Edwards Field.
Patrick Henry plated three runs in the bottom of the first and followed with ten in the second to effectively put the game, shortened to five innings by the 10-run rule, out of reach.
