Patrick Henry used a relentless attack to score the match’s first five goals, as he Patriots cruised to the 11-4 girls lacrosse win over Rockbridge County Tuesday afternoon at Merrill Gainer Field.

Rockbridge got on the scoreboard with 3:00 left in the opening half to cut the deficit to 5-1 at the break, but Maddie Blackwell’s score in the first minute of the final 25-minute session and Anne Johnson’s tally a minute later put Patrick Henry on cruise control.

Johnson finished with three goals and three assists, while Blackwell contributed three goals and two assists in the PH effort. Alaina Girani picked up the win in goal as Patrick Henry improved to 5-1 on the season.
