Covenant confounded the Raider’s  defense in jumping out to an 11-2 halftime lead, then outscored the Raiders 2-0 in the third quarter to put the match out of reach after 36 minutes.

After an Eagle score in the opening minute of the final quarter increased the Covenant advantage to 14-2, North Cross responded with a goal by Max Revercomb with 8:46 left, and a Penn Draper tally just under a minute later to close the gap to 14-4.

Covenant was content to pull the offense to the perimeter and coast in the final minutes of the contest.

Draper suffered a game-ending injury with just under six minutes remaining, and was taken off the field with an apparent leg injury.

Covenant improved to 6-3 with the win, while the Raiders fell to 4-2.
