The Titans still trailed by 12 at the halftime break and five after three quarters before outscoring the Blue Demons 18-12 in the final frame. Both teams had reverted to physical play in the second half as chippy play ruled in the final 16 minutes.

Hidden Valley sophomore forward Camden Sine canned a free throw with four seconds left to give the Titans the one-point margin.

The Titans were led in scoring by Dylan Hodson’s 21 points, with sophomore J.J. DeVaughn knocking down 17 for Hidden Valley. The win kept Hidden Valley in the thick of things in the tight River Ridge race heading to the stretch run this week.

All eyes will be on the Hidden Valley-Cave Spring regular season finale Tuesday, February 5th at the Titan gym, where Hidden Valley will look to repeat their one-point win from earlier this month.
