Hidden Valley jumped out to a 31-15 halftime lead and the Lady Titans never looked back as Hidden Valley defeated Cave Spring 53-36 in the opening game of the girls/boys doubleheader Friday night at the Knights gym.
Cave Spring was plagued by turnovers throughout the contest and any hope of a second half comeback was doused when the Lady Knights were held scoreless in the third quarter.
The Lady Knights came alive in the final frame, outscoring Hidden Valley 21-12, but the early deficit was too much to overcome.
