The long-time private school boys basketball rivalry between North Cross and Roanoke Catholic returned to action Saturday night at the Celtic gym as North Cross defeated Catholic 67-45.

North Cross outscored the Celtics 23-5 in the second quarter to overcome an 11-8 deficit after the first frame, and the Raiders coasted the rest of the way. 

North Cross was led in scoring by Peter Agba’s 18 points, while Raider freshman Jordan Lowery added 11.

Ross Clark topped the Celtic scorebook with 13 points, with Tony Vassar chipping in 9.
