Saturday’s Jingle Bell tournament final came down to the last possession and a dramatic final shot in the two-day holiday basketball event at Faith Christian School.
Roanoke Catholic and Lynchburg Home School had battled to a 47-47 deadlock, and the game appeared to be headed to overtime before the Patriots from the Hill City connected on a half-court heave that gave LHS the tournament championship with the 50-47 win.
