The name of the book may be “Off the Eaten Path,” but last Friday morning it was lights, camera, action at the Roanoker. The restaurant’s famous biscuits, which appear in the recently released book, got prime-time play during a segment of the Today Show with Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda. A large television was set up in the Roanoker’s front room as customers and employees took in the excitement, along with complimentary biscuits during the morning breakfast.
