Dear Editor,
We would like to say a very big thank you to Sarah Flint, Linda Payne, the Roanoke County police and the DEA representatives who did a fantastic job with our Take Back Day on April 30th. 178 cars came through to give back almost 229 pounds of prescription drugs in Roanoke County and over 2000 pounds across the Valley. We also thank RAYSAC for having sites in the city, Botetourt County and the city of Salem. This was truly a community effort to keep our water clean, our youth and families healthy and the Valley safe! Everyon should watch for the Fall 2011 date and please let us know if you would like to volunteer for that effort!
