The 10-11 year old little league team from Cave Spring American captured the District 12 Championship in Covington, VA earlier this month. The team went undefeated in tournament play, posting a record of 4-0 against District 12 teams. The team then traveled to Reston, VA to compete in the state little league tournament where they advanced out of a pool of 16 teams into the championship bracket. The team then lost in quarterfinal play, tying for 5th in the state. The picture above shows the team with their state medals.
