Bart Smith has joined the Roanoke Regional Small Business Development Center (RRSBDC) as director of the agency. As director of the Roanoke Regional SBDC, Smith counsels new and existing small businesses, offers training to small business owners, and works to secure local funding partners for the RRSBDC.
Smith, a University of Tennessee graduate with a degree in liberal arts, most recently was employed as director of the Region 2000 SBDC in Lynchburg.
The Roanoke Regional Small Business Development Center was established in 1990 and is a program of the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce. It provides free business counseling, training, and a resource center to support the growth of small businesses.
