Don Caldwell is a snake in the grass. I mean no insult to snakes by comparing them to Caldwell but they are the best analogy I can make. I saw Caldwell’s narcissistic behavior on display when he orchestrated kicking-out a number of older women from the Roanoke City Democratic Party. These women, including Mary Bower’s the Mayor’s mother, had been the backbone of the City Democratic party for many years.
Senator Edwards on the other hand is a mensch and every person who has had the pleasure of dealing with him knows that is the case. Therefore, I cannot imagine a single Democratic constituency not voting for Senator Edwards.
I am going to make a voting turnout prediction today; that the hand full of votes Caldwell receives come from the Republican candidate and not Senator Edwards.
