Beginning on 13 February St. John Lutheran Church will host a free C.S. Lewis conference entitled “C.S.Lewis’s Big Ideas” featuring Dr. Jerry Root from Wheaton College.
On Friday from 7:00-9:00 PM, the topic will be “Reality is Iconoclastic (When God is not my idea of God).”
There are two sessions on Saturday. The morning session at 9:00 will be about “God and the heart’s deepest longings” The 10:45 session will focus on “Why story and image get us where ideas alone cannot.”
On Sunday, Dr. Root will preach both services on “C.S. Lewis and the love of God” with a Q&A session between services.
