DePaul Community Resources has announced Linda Hentschel as their inaugural Chief Operating Officer. In this new role, Hentschel will oversee almost all internal operations and provide both day-to-day and strategic leadership.

Originally a social worker in the agency’s treatment foster care program, Hentschel spearheaded the creation of a Quality Improvement department for DePaul Community Resources, serving as the department’s first coordinator and, eventually, director.

“She has a unique ability and commitment to view complex problems from many perspectives at once—and is able to make wise decisions formed by her head and heart,” said DePaul President and CEO Amanda Stanley in an address to the entire organization. “The Board and I have every confidence that she will lead us with the calmness, caring, and humility that she is known for throughout DePaul.”

Hentschel’s career with DePaul originally began in November of 1989; her long service is a reflection of her dedication to serving children and individuals with disabilities. “After 25 years of change and growth with DePaul,” Hentschel said, “I am honored to help strengthen our services for individuals and families in our community moving forward.”
