Kevin Jones, Special Assistant to the Athletic Director at Virginia Tech, was the guest speaker Monday night at the monthly meeting of the Roanoke Valley Sports Club held at the Salem Civic Center.
Jones, a consensus All-American running back at Tech in 2003, enjoyed a NFL career than spanned four years with the Detroit Lions and one season with the Chicago Bears before an injury cut short his playing career.
Jones was joined by Chris Ullrich; Virginia Tech Coordinator, Finance and Compliance. The two held a lively question and answer session before taking questions from the audience.
