Roanoke Mayor David Bowers presents 2008 Olympic fencing silver medalist Tim Morehouse a silver replica of the Mill Mountain Star Friday afternoon at the Boys and Girls Club headquarters on 9th Street.
Bowers and Morehouse entertained the full house with a fencing exhibition leading up to Friday night’s Subway Commonwealth Games opening ceremonies at the Roanoke Civic Center. Morehouse was the 2013 motivational speaker.
