Patrick Henry took advantage of some early-game pitching woes by the E.C. Glass Hilltoppers as the Patriots downed their opponents from Lynchburg 20-1 Monday afternoon at the PH Field in a game shortened to five innings due to the 10-run rule.
Alexis Cox led the way for Patrick Henry, blasting three doubles and getting the win in the pitcher’s circle. Hannah Snider and Samantha Russell each connected on a pair of hits for the Patriots.
PH plated nine runs in the bottom of the first and never looked back in posting their fifth win of the season.
