Orlando Magic guard J.J. Redick hosted his inaugural charity golf tournament and gala at Ballyhack Golf Club in Roanoke Saturday.

With proceeds benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Child Health Investment Partnership (CHIP) of Roanoke Valley, the golf tournament included the likes of Virginia Tech football coach Frank Beamer and former major league pitcher Billy Wagner.

Redick, a former standout at Cave Spring High School and Duke University, extended his stay in Roanoke with a 3-day basketball camp held this week at North Cross.
