Hidden Valley used strong play from Carter Wright (77) and Taylor Walker (82) to compliment its top scoring duo of Alex Taylor (72) and Brad Elder (75) as the Titans pulled off a 3-shot upset of favorite Blacksburg in the River Ridge District Tournament at Ashley Plantation Tuesday afternoon. Both teams advanced to the Regional competition next Monday at Roanoke Country Club. Salem finished third and Cave Spring fourth in the six-team field.
